Applique Progress

Progress has been made! I originally prepped this applique on one long piece of fabric.

Then I changed my mind, so I cut the bits apart and puzzled them together.

We took a road trip to a family reunion last week and this is how much I got done.

I don’t really know where this is headed. Time will tell.

Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing adult kids, and a former librarian. I love making everything from traditional quilts to art quilts. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

I’m just starting applique. How did you make the inside of the letters so perfect? (e.g., the A, P, R) Did you stitch that part first, then the outside?

My whole house is ‘fragments’ right now-my ‘kids’ are trying to get me to corral my fabric-when you go from a little in each room to ONE room it’s kind of scary. 🙂 S
