Iceland Part 9

This was the last waterfall we visited in Iceland.

After that, we headed back to Reykjavik. You’ve likely seen photos of this church with Lief Ericsson in front.

There was an interesting art installation inside. This first piece is thought provoking!

This was at the harbor.

There was a who,e store dedicated to Thor!

When we had enough of the city, we headed out into the surrounding area.

This was a cool cave that hubby found.

Still more to come. Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

I’m living vicariously through your beautiful photos – thank you SO much for sharing them!
I especially appreciated the art photographs! I found the 3rd / 4th one(s) interesting – I thought that the figures looked like the Academy Award’s “Oscar” statuette, until I saw the close-up. VERY thought provoking… as was the concept of the “dash” between life and death – there’s (hopefully!) a lot of living happening in that space!

I am not much of a traveler but your photos of the waterfalls and ocean and hillsides makes me want to go there someday! Thanks for sharing them.
