Dear Betty 2.0

After looking at these blacks all last week, I decided to just sew them together.

I was thinking about adding borders, but then I found the perfect backing in my stash. If I didn’t add borders, I could use the backing without piecing it. How’s that for logic?

So it’s on the frame and I’m thinking about quilting designs.

I think sometimes I just have to move forward and finish something to clear my head space for something else.

Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

I think that is perfect logic! I like the way the blocks go so well together and am very curious as to what border you found. 🙂

That’s awesome logic!! I think it looks fine without borders.

Those are big blocks. Better done and gone than crashed and stashed. I’ll say it again, you are a very talented and prolific quilter.

I like it! It looks kind of like an old quilt to me. Hugs,

I know just what you mean about using what’s available to move one project on so others can follow.
