Sometimes it’s hard to get back into the routine after vacation. The first thing I had to tackle in the sewing room was this mess.
That’s a bit better. Still plenty messy, but at least I can see my cutting table.
Since I didn’t know where to start, I decided to look at my UFO list and pulled this out.
These are left over block kits from my Dear Betty quilt. I changed my mind on the corner triangles though. Here is my first pieced block. They are 24 inch blocks and go together pretty quickly.
I have 8 more kits cut out so this will make a good size donation quilt.
Have a great day!
Aren’t you GLAD that Winslow cannot jump up there on his own? (like cats can, and then mess up ones work!)
Your sewing room set-up is fabulous. I don’t have that kind of space so I have a lot crammed in. Not so organized as yours.
Welcome back!! Was Winslow hiding under all that stuff? Just kidding, she is adorable. Hugs,
Did you find that cutie pie under all your fabrics???
I bet you get alot done with his help –too!!!
nice colors in that block–
luv, di
Winslow has grown! What a cutie, posing so nicely! You’ve transitioned pretty well after your trip, getting right into another beautiful project. Welcome home!
Hi Katy! Look how sweet Winslow looks sitting on your table, watching you. That face!!! He says lets go snuggle – forget about cutting anything. ~smile~ Roseanne
Coming back to reality is always a eye opener especially after a wonderful vacation. I’m enjoying your photos and creativity Katy, Thanks!
Hi Katy, love your sewing space! I constantly have to stop and clean off my cutting table, I can’t stand when it’s a mess. Oh and I love that little Winslow sitting on there too!! 🙂
