I love all the little things I find in my sewing room! Recently, I came across these tiny four patches I made from vintage scraps.
I’m going to be involved in a doll quilt swap in the new year and I think I might use these as my starting point. They will finish at two inches. They would look good on point, perhaps with a double pink background.
I could make a few more to create 16 patches.
I always liked my Downton Abbey quilt and this might be a good layout in miniature.
Maybe lump them all together?
So many ideas, so little time.
Have a great day!
They’d all be lovely, but I do like the doll quilt idea. That is so traditional! But all of them are great. I have a bunch that finish at 3, I think. They are for Promised Land, if I ever finish enough. =)
All great options!
So much fun block play going on! Looking forward to seeing what you make, as always!
I’d say you can’t go wrong with any of these settings! You can’t beat a cute little 4-patch!
Cute units! Bonnie H’s Addicted to Scraps in the current Quiltmaker would be another It’s called Four Patch Pinwheel. https://www.quiltingcompany.com/Quilt/four-patch-pinwheel/
So many choices of what to do with these little blocks. They would look sweet set on point.
Just love your vintage blocks. Are you hand piecing these as well as hand quilting?
