I hade made a decision on the jelly roll pattern and then Mr. Wonderful said the colors for the housewarming quilt should be teal, purple and blue. Back to the drawing board! These are not prominent colors in my stash. Then I remembered that I had a few of these charm packs.
I traded some pieces from two of the packs and came up with this.
Way too small, I know. But I have a plan! Stay tuned. I got distracted by an invite to the pumpkin farm with the three Es.
When I got home, I realized the second clue for the Sajou Quilt Along was posted. So I whipped that out. Ole Abe is leaning to the right! Lol!
I hope the next step sets him to rights, if not, I’ll improvise.
I’m behind on my Military Mystery QAL. I hope to get caught up with that tomorrow. We were visiting my sweet MIL in Missouri last weekend so I’m running behind on a few things.
Have a great day!
I have to say that your grandsons are adorable – growing so fast!!
I love your blog!
I’ve been watching the Sajou QAL and I’m tempted to jump in. I have a stash of Civil War fabrics that I need to use. However, I’ve got quite a few QALs going . . . Hmm. I’m curious to see what you are adding to your housewarming quilt! Those three E’s sure are cute little guys!
Oh my goodness – look how cute the three Es look in that pumpkin field. I’ll bet that was a fun field trip! So cute. ~smile~ Roseanne
