I spent most of yesterday preparing for my church craft group that meets at my house. But I did find a little bit of time to play.
I think I need to prepare and cut more leaf shapes!
Have a great day!

I love where your idea is going. Are the edges turned under on your leaves?
Thanks for the idea. My mom had a crazy quilt pillow out of some old ties that was kind of neat. I saved quite a few of my husbands ties when he retired wanting to used them in some way. I like yours so much better and I love to do applique.
What great play that is, too! A wonderful way to use up tie scraps.
What a lovely project for silk ties!
Oh no! I love all those settings!!
Just lovely–I really like the 3rd setting a lot…hugs, Julierose
These are all fabulous!
I like the third one.
Hi Katy. Love your projects using ties. I have mine washed but have not taken them apart. What am I waiting for???? I would like to pick your creativity, our church Fall Festival is coming up and I’m chairing our Country Store. We have place mats , pot holders(including micro-wave pot holders)and a few small quilts. Do you have any other suggestions that might work?
Cute idea! I like the ones where you have lots of leaves close together.
Oh, I like that 2nd photo!!! Such a neat arrangement of #3 too.
Who knew ties could make such fun designs!
That’s a great idea!!! Those are made from your scrap leftover ties right? Love it
Hi Katy! Are these all from ties? They look great – no one would ever guess! ~smile~ Roseanne
Those look great! What fun. Susan
LOVE IT
