I pinned this little doll quilt on Pinterest ages ago.
Last night I took some time to make one similar out of my vintage stash.
I don’t know how big the original is, I cut my quarter square triangles to make 3 inch finished blocks. Time to decide on my arrangement.
My colors are similar, though not the same as the original.
I used a bit of yellow feed sack for the back and some Mountain Mist Blue Ribbon cotton batting. Then I machine quilted it in a simple grid. I used a single fold binding.
I love how this little piece turned out!
I think this will look great with one of my toy machines.
Have a great day!
such a cute mini–I never think of making those–such fun and quick turnaround, too. I think yours has the “flavor” of the older one…very pretty finish and super quilting on it hugs, Julierose
I LOVE it
So cute! I need to follow your example and use some of my pins as design prompts. Always fun to see your projects, Katy!
