I finished this QOV top yesterday and got it loaded on the long arm.
I had four blocks leftover. I decided to see if I could use them with one of the panels I have. I sometimes struggle with panels because they are often not printed straight.

They are also long and narrow.

Looks like I need to make some more blocks.
Have a great day!

Would you happen to have a panel like this to sell to me ? 😘😘. I’m looking all over for it
More blocks, or really big borders. Either one works. I like your finished top a lot.
What a great block for QOV quilts! I agree with you about panels. People are always giving me panels for my QOV and Project Linus quilts and I struggle to make them work in their wonky printed way! I have often done just strips (log cabin like) along the sides and then corner blocks like your first photo. It seem to work well and our longarm angel always makes it look good – like yours!!
Your QOV is a beauty, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with for the panel design. I’ve been resorting to patterns using panels, and trimming panels to size can sometimes be a challenge. Can’t seem to resist them, though!
