Alycia is collecting blocks for Quilts of Valor in honor of a friend who recently passed away. I put a couple together to send. You can find details here if you would like to make some too.
I listened to this while working on them. It’s a short novella, but I enjoyed it. I think most book lovers would.
Notice anything different from the first picture to the second? Both were taken on the same day.
I hate to lose a tree, but a big one had to go. I’m still trying to get used to the change.
My sister and I saw this the other day. The entire vehicle was covered in duct tape!
You’ve seen this quilt before. It will finally go to E3 this week. I waited to give it until I could make the label.
Hand sewing this label on was easier than the handwriting on it! Kind of messy, but it will have to do.
Have a great day!
Oh the tree – But it was so close to the house! Thanks for making flag blocks ( the have arrived) and the plaid quilt – I love it!!!
I love the shirts quilt! I am sure Ean will, too.
Oh, I love Baby E’s quilt made from the shirts of the “other” men in the family. What a keepsake!
I run my label through the ink jet printer and set it with an iron. It has worked for years. Though handwritten by a Nana would always take precedent over a machine.
I like your quilt, especially the quilting on it. Was this quilted on your longarm or DSM?
Oh, it’s always sad to lose those big old trees! That quilt is so cool, and I love the wavy quilting. I always forget to label my quilts!
Very cute. What was the overall dimension of the quilt?
