Here is a very old finish! I’m not sure exactly how old, but it was three houses ago so sometime before 1997!
I loved these fabrics and wish I had more of them! I quilted this with a walking foot and the whole thing is a bit oddly shaped.
The squares finish at one inch. Nice puckers in the back, huh? Haha! Some people say I shouldn’t point out my mistakes. But I’m all about being real. I think it gives others permission to do the same. And things don’t have to be perfect to be beautiful anyway.
Have a great day!
Fantastic quilt!!!
I love it! Hugs,
A sweet little quilt, with personality! I have some with puckers too and I think it’s just adds something to them. Thanks for sharing!
I love this quilt in all it’s simplicity. I’ve done some pretty intensive piecing but I always love the simplest quilts the best. I’m working on a simple 4-patch right now with alternating background squares of the same print. I started out with Civil War repros and for more variety, I threw in a bunch of other fabrics that looked like they belonged. Even though the piecing is very simple, I love how it’s coming out and can’t wait until the top is finished. I was inspired by a quilt on Pinterest.
This is a sweet little quilt, I think it’s quite charming. And yes, quilters are all about pointing out what they did wrong. lol
