I got a couple layer cakes of this line ages ago.
You may remember that I was using this “recipe” to make blocks at the Stitching Sisters sew days.
While waiting for the rest of the parts for my new long arm, I decided to pull this out and work on it a bit. I have half the blocks done and all of the HSTs sewn.
I’d really like to finish this for a Quilt of Valor this month. I want to have it ready to load as soon as the long arm is ready to go.

I haven’t tried the Cake Mix papers but the results I’ve seen have all been so nice and precise. Enjoy!.
I envy you quilters who have been doing this for a while. All of your relatives probably have a quilt made by you and you have time to sew for charity. It feels like I’m going to be quilting forever to get everybody on my wish list to make quilts for! But I’m having fun doing it. 🙂 Someday I’ll have everybody checked off and then can start making quilts for others too. I enjoy seeing everything everybody else is doing!
