This and That Saturday

This has been catch up week. First on the agenda this week was putting away all the decorations. I’m amazed that this glass ornament has survived all these years!

Since I haven’t been sewing much, I thought I’d share some of my Christmas gifts. Mr. Wonderful replaced my Fit Bit with an Apple Watch. I’m still learning how to use it.

Daughter #1 bought these beautiful precuts for me!

From my sister. We grew up in Wisconsin and she still lives there.

Daughter #3 had this beautiful bracelet made. The engraving is my dad’s handwriting. I cried buckets when I opened it.

Mr. Wonderful also surprised me with this book. It is fascinating and makes me want to buy an old Jeep to restore.

We went to an estate sale over the holidays. I forgot about it until a half hour before it was all over. When we got there, they said everything marked $100 or less was now a dollar! I came home with this dresser and another enamel top table for the grand total of two bucks!

Now to find a place to put it.

Have a good day and stay warm!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!
