I met one of our newer members of the Stitching Sisters QOV group at our last meeting. Candy’s very first quilt was a QOV and she presented it to a vet! She had another top ready for me to quilt. Here it is:

I used a panto called Eagle’s Landing.

Nice work, Candy!
Have a great day!

About katyquilts
I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!
Nice work, both of you! She did a great job on the quilt design, and I really like that panto – gives such movement!
Wow – that quilt just deserves a big WOW. It looks like the Veteran who received it should love it – I know I would. As Val mentioned above, the quilting choice is spot on. It does remind me of the eagle flying as well. ~smile~ Roseanne
Partial seams on a grand scale. What a great idea for using a panel. And your quilting reminds me of the eagle’s wings – a great choice on this quilt!
