The Best Laid Plans….

Well, I finally have this little top together.

And I even have the backing fabric ready.

But it is on hold now because I loaded this up and started quilting it first.

And before I got very far at all, I hit a ruler and knocked the timing out. So Harry and I have an appointment on Monday for a spa day. He was due for a check up anyway.

Sigh…..

Hope your day is better!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

  1. Oh bummer. That would be a bit disappointing. That little quilt is really cute, and the backing is adorable. Can’t wait to see what you’re doing there with all that quilting going on!

. . . of mice and men. That’s all I could think of when I read your title. I’m sorry that you have to take a break. Darn it. I hope you have no deadlines that you HAVE to meet – no one needs that stress. Enjoy the weekend – time for some Jeep time before the snow flies, maybe? ~smile~ Roseanne

I hope it is a quick and easy recovery for Harry at the spa. It looks like you’ve chosen a beautiful design for the quilt. Love the adorable Kewpie finish.
