Sunday Slow Stitching

I’m still working on my vintage pyramids top. The center is done and I just have the side borders left.

I decided to just stitch parallel diagonal lines on the borders. I’m not marking anything.

I love the back!

Have a good one!

Look how fabulous the back looks! WOWEE. What a beautiful homage you are paying to this vintage piece by finishing it so nicely. ~smile~ Roseanne

I am amazed at how even your lines are with out marking. You are right that the back looks wonderful

  5. I can’t imagine hand quilting without marking. It’s looking great.

  6. You are such a brave soul to not mark anything! It looks fabulous… enjoy!

Your hand quilting is perfect for this quilt! Only a little bit more to do before you are done!

Just curious, are you using a walking foot or free motion foot for the diagonal lines? When I use a walking foot, I have so much trouble with puckering on the back.
