Jeep Dog!

This is Pierre, our Bichon Frise. He’s 15 1/2 years old now and despite some health issues, he’s still hanging in there. He got groomed this week and I thought I’d make him a new bandana.

He doesn’t mind riding in the Jeep. It seems that lots of Jeepers have dogs that ride with them. I don’t see Pierre actually hitting the trails anytime soon though.

I fired up the embroidery machine and purchased a digitized design to make this.

I make these so the collar slides into a sleeve in the bandana.

I couldn’t stop with one, my two grand doggies needed them too!

So these are for Bambi and Winnie.

After all, it was driving Daughter #2’s Jeep in AZ all last winter that made me want one! This pic is me with her beautiful Rubicon in Sedona.

Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

I love the bandanna. Jeep looks great for his age . We have a little 7 lb teacup poodle who is 13 and very bossy. She has her Daddy and me very well trained

Great job on the embroidery, Katy! That caught my eye right off. Isn’t it fun to do little projects like that?

Oh what cutie pies all of the dogs are.

  4. Pierre looks very handsome in his new bandanna!
