I finished up my batik rectangles quilt!
I really love the lavender binding. I finished it by machine and I’m pleased with how well that turned out.
I spent way too much time trying to decide on a backing fabric and ended up just using a wide muslin. The panto graph is called Elongated Meander. It is from Digi-Tec.
The rectangles finish at 2 by 4 inches. I used a die from Accuquilt to cut the pieces. If you click this link, you can get free shipping on your order from Accuquilt.
Have a great day!

I love this! What size are your rectangles? Thank you!
Great looking but simple quilt! I’ll have to remember to add this one to my must make list.
It looks great. I love muslin as a backing. It shows the quilting so beautifully.
It is beautiful! Congratulations on a great finish.
I really like that! It gives me an idea for a way to use some yardage of a pretty yellow/orange that I’ve been wondering what to do with. The quilting is lovely. Good job in the binding, too!
Yea for a finish! And thanks for posting the quilting pattern name. I do like that lavender binding.
What a great scrap quilt! Love your aqua background to solidify it.
Another beautiful scrap quilt! Love the aqua fabric you chose and the lavender binding too.
The lavender binding is PERFECT and I love the elongated meandering quilting! Another great job, Katy!

This is so pretty, Katy. The aqua is such a fun color to use with the scraps, and I agree that the lavender binding is so much fun! Nice finish!
What a great scrappy quilt! Love that aqua that ties it all together! Thanks for linking up to TGIFF!
Love the use of aqua solid on this quilt, and the lavender binding is just right. Another beauty!
Beautiful job. The binding looks perfect.
Love the quilt and the lavender binding just sets it off. I am envious of your perfectly straight stitches on the binding.
