I had a really hard time choosing my second entry for BQF hosted by Amy at Amy’s Creative Side . I finally settled on this quilt that I made for Daughter #3 and SIL for their wedding shower.
Most of the prints are from Tim Holtz’ lines.
The background is Grunge, but I cannot tell you the color name.
I freehand the quilting. I hoped to give it the look of a topographical map.
Please visit Amy’s Creative Side to see all the other entries!
I really like the piecing, and the way you quilted it. You can definitely see the UP part there!
That’s a fun way to use up those prints!
So Cute. Love the quilting.
First, I finally have a chance to say “THANK YOU” for the trailer pattern. Haven’t started it yet, have a couple of other irons in the fire. And this Quilt is sooooo awesome, beautiful, stunning & simply perfect!!!!!. It stricks my heart. As I grew up in Lansing. I have a brother who lives in Leslie, an Uncle & Aunt that live in Holt. Thank you for sharing.
Love it!!! Perfect quilting. Love the pixels and the prints and the shade of Grunge! In other words, love all of it!
I forgot how much I love this quilt!
There is nothing that I don’t like about this quilt….I love the fabrics, the design, and the quilting is perfect for the design.
