Blogger’s Quilt Festival 2017 ~ Entry #2

I had a really hard time choosing my second entry for BQF hosted by Amy at Amy’s Creative Side . I finally settled on this quilt that I made for Daughter #3 and SIL for their wedding shower.

Most of the prints are from Tim Holtz’ lines.

The background is Grunge, but I cannot tell you the color name.

I freehand the quilting. I hoped to give it the look of a topographical map.

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

And this Quilt is sooooo awesome, beautiful, stunning & simply perfect!!!!!. It stricks my heart. As I grew up in Lansing. I have a brother who lives in Leslie, an Uncle & Aunt that live in Holt. Thank you for sharing.
