I was getting ready to baste this top for quilting, when I remembered a couple other vintage tops I had stored away.


I bought both of these from the same dealer at an antique fair quite a few years ago.


This one needs a few repairs like this:


This one doesn’t lay real flat.


It also needs a repair.


As I write this, I’m reminded of yet another top I have that would be a great candidate for hand quilting. Hmmmm……what to do, what to do!

    It’s wonderful that you are quilting these tops that were made by anonymous quilters long ago. I’m sure they would be thrilled to see all the work and loving care you are investing in their precious heirlooms.
