A Sweet Little Find

While on a recent antique jaunt with hubby, I found this lovely crib quilt top!

I love how the blocks are all very orderly on the left, but on the far right, things get a bit wonky!

This picture shows the block  pattern.

It is all hand pieced.

This area has issues, but the rest looks good, even though the fabric is rather thin.

I paid all of $9.00 for this small top. I think this is the perfect top for my next hand quilting project.

Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

What fun! Maybe two people worked on it? Excellent hand project.

  2. I wonder if it was a larger quilt that was cut up, given the way the pattern drops off on the right side? I love the cheddary yellow. What a great find!
