This is what I have been up to in the sewing room.
First, I’ve been sewing borders. Yes, I ended up using that stripe in the QOV I’ve been working on.
I finally added borders to my Blueberry Park top.

And I finally got around to cutting more pieces for my log cabin blocks that I worked on in Arizona.

I feel like I haven’t pieced any blocks in ages and now these are ready to go if I have a few minutes here and there.
Have a great day!

I really like the way that fabric looks in the log cabins. It makes me think that any fabric, even if I didn’t like it, could look good in that block. =)
The energizer bunny would have to run to keep up with you!
Love the idea of cutting the parts and setting in the tray, all ready to go when there’s time. A great way to tackle a project!
You are amazingly calm with a wedding coming up, quilting and enjoying it all! So happy for you all!
I love your idea of putting cut pieces on a tray! I’ll be scoping out trays at garage sales this summer!
Wow, you’ve been busy. I love those log cabin blocks. I’m beginning to think Christmas already – yikes, I guess I should wait for my tulips to come out first!
OH my goodness…and the wedding is now LESS than 2 weeks away. You always astound me-I remember the crunch time & sewing was never in the cards. Do enjoy the wedding-Susan R
