Quilting Progress

I’ve been making slow progress on my Grant and Lee quilt. I’m loving the borders, but I’m not so crazy about the corners.

But it will do. I went with circles on the black border. Some are a bit misshapen! Lol!

Someone suggested orang peeks in the blocks and I went with it.

I hope to have this finished by next Friday.

Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

I like it. Makes me want to dig out my scraps and make a nine patch! Maybe I will after I get done with my current project. Or maybe I’ll try EPP? Have a wonderful weekend!

Those circles look really good to me!!

  5. I really like your quilting patterns. Thank you for sharing the ‘imperfections’ too – they actually look fine and act as an encouragement to me to not stall at the quilting stage but keep trying new things.
