I have shared most of these in times past, but since I am not getting much sewing done this week, I thought I would share them again! Most of the following mini quilts were made with vintage fabrics.
For reference, the little star quilt above measures about 6 inches square.
These are all machine quilted.
This little hexie quilt is made from repro fabrics. When I made this one, I didn’t have a vintage stash! The hexies measure a half inch on a side.
And this last pictures shows how I have them hanging all together in one of our spare bedrooms.
Have a great day!
Wow! I somehow missed the email about this. They are WONDERFUL! And I love how you’ve arranged them on the wall of your guest room. Well done! Did you use velcro to attach them to the wall?
Katy, fabulous beauties, every one. You have inspired me to finish some little royal gems that I have started. Thank you, I love your work. Would you please consider mentioning the Quilts of Valor program. Thank you. Lois P in Omaha
Your quilts are adorable! I love miniatures too.
I love your arrangement of all the quilts together. I usually hang one mini at a time and swap them out when the urge strikes.
I am so jealous of all you quilters who have been doing this long enough to have collections. They inspire me! Love your red, white, and blue mini quilts and it made me want to start one!
Okay YES!!! I was thinking, ‘OH!!! They would be lovely all displayed together somehow,’ and you did it! Beautiful work.
What gorgeous little quilts!
Gorgeous!!! These are right up my alley. Hugs,
WOW!! WOW! and WOW!! Perfect!
Katy — love those minis! How do you hang them on the wall? Do you the triangle corner pockets with a dowel (don’t know how else to describe it, sorry).
Sweet little quilts, beautifully displayed. I often pass on small quilt patterns since I don’t know how I’d use them; thanks for the inspiration!
Beautiful quilts, Katy!! Love them all!!
Thanks for sharing!
So many beauties! It’s a lovely collection Katy.
