I’ve been working on the last of the HST donation quilts. This is the pantograph I am using.
And this is the thread I am using.
I got some happy mail the other day! New rulers for my long arm! These are from Linda at The Quilted Pineapple
When I got to the end of the HST quilt, I had a bit of extra batting and backing so I had to try out my new toys.
One of these days, I am going to get my Metropolitan Fair quilt quilted! I decided to try a few designs out that might work for that quilt. Here’s a peek at in progress in case you have forgotten.
Not sure I am in love with any of these, but it was fun to play!
I will say that I am really impressed with these rulers and templates. most long arm rulers only have parallel lines. Linda has designed hers to have measurements both the length of the ruler and parallel to the edge. I have another arc ruler that I have never liked that well, these will be a great replacement for that.

WOW!! Amazing!!!!
You have done some beautiful things in your play with the new tools.
I just have the smallest of her rulers, and so far haven’t used it much. You are inspiring me to give it a go!
Very fun! Love the scrappy HS…it has happy vibes!
Fun new tools! I am not going to pretend I know what or how they are used on a long arm, but they look like fun! I’m sure you will have fun with them and create some more gorgeous quilting!
Nothing like the excitement of new sewing toys, er, tools, showing up in the mail. Have fun!
