I finished her off!
It is with great relief that I present to you, Calamity Jane.
And she did not want to cooperate for pictures.

I love how Jane turned out. Talk about lemons into lemonade! You might find that sometimes your rebellious child can be the most charmingly! LOL

I think you did a great job of making a fresh take on a difficult project. Now you can move on to something you will really enjoy! 😉
You did it!! She looks great!
Even if she didn’t pose like a super model, she’s still quite a beauty!
She turned out beautifully. Great job finishing.
All Baby Janes are lovely to me and yours is no exception. I love it.
Fabulous looking quilt, with enough sass and spunk to keep you on your toes. Bravo for finishing her!
She’s lovely! Hugs,
Of course she wouldn’t cooperate! Some quilts just seem to have a mind of their own. I love your quilting!
Love Calamity Jane!! And, as another commenter said, the fabric for the alternating blocks is awesome! That blue really looks great with all the other fabrics….
I also love the quilting design….
I hope that over time you will really come to love this quilt…..as much as your blog readers do!!
Happy New Year to you and your family!
I *love* it! Happy New Year to you and your growing family.
She’s beautiful. Love the quilting. Happy New Year. Hugs
Lovely Calamity Jane. I like the block with the curves. I’m going to have to get brave and try making a block with curves. Avery blessed new year to you.
Very nice
one of the things I don’t like about the original Dear Jane is that it is overwhelming to look at. Your Calamity is peaceful & allows me to more opportunity to appreciate these extraordinary blocks. I would happily live with your version
But the rebellious ones are the children we love most, aren’t they? Beautiful finish; well done.
Rebellious but beautiful!
Calamity Jane has a personality..and I love it!!!
I think this is wonderful. The fabric you used for the alternating blocks says “vintage prairie” all over it. I definitely couldn’t have gotten this far on it!
