Trunk Full of Quilts ~ QOV

Soma over at Whims and Fancies  has started a virtual trunk show party called Trunk Full of Quilts.

Online Quilt Trunk Show | Whims And Fancies

It is an opportunity to post about some of your favorite finished quilts and share them virtually in Blogland. You can also find others’ virtual trunk shows here. Soma  has come up with some lovely prizes to be awarded as well. So pull out some of your quilts and create a trunk show of your own!

For my trunk show, I decided to share some of my favorite Quilts of Valor that I have made over the last few years. I have quilted many tops made by others, but the quilts I am showing today were all made by me from first stitch to last. I hope you enjoy them!

???????????????????????????????

I think this next one is my all time favorite due to the quilting. You can’t see it in the overall shot, but I have quilted an eagle into the center of this nine patch quilt.

You can see it better here.

Wonderful quilts Katy! Really good to see them all together. The simple red, white and blue colour way is a winner but the reason for making them makes each one so special and even more striking to look at. Thanks for sharing the virtual trunk show link.
