Once again, I went out of town for the weekend and came home sick. Blech. Thankfully, I had yesterday off as I had originally planned to stay one more day than I did. I did a bit of hand piecing on my Hexie quilt while traveling. Here is a shot of it now.
That partial row bothers me. Hopefully enough that I will finish that row this week.
I did get the last solid border added to the QOV I am working on and I got it loaded into the frame.
Since I had no energy to quilt, I will contemplate the design for another day.

Adore the hexies!
Hey – I didn’t go anywhere and I got sick last weekend! At least you WENT somewhere! 🙂
Those hexies look amazing!
Oh! Hope you are getting better already. I like the boldness of the borders you’ve used for the QOV. It makes an interesting contrast to the hexie quilt – nice to have variety!
Sorry to hear you are sick – feel better soon. I have never made a hexagon but am becomming attracted to them lately. Do you have a strategy for your colour arrangement i.e. light and dark or is it a completely (contrived?) random design. I love the way your quilt looks and your fabrics are always so gorgeous.

I’m interested in knowing how you are going to back the hexie quilt. You are inspiring to me to want to start putting my stray hexies in to a top.
Love the hexagons!! Will you finish the top and bottom with half-hexagons?
Awww, Katy! So sorry you were under the weather. I hope you’re feeling better as the day goes on. I love that hexie quilt. I don’t know how you do it, but you always manage to create something wonderful with only scraps!
Loving your hexie quilt. I feel your pain with the unfinished row, too. Hope you’re feeling better soon!
