I think my to do list is growing…..but did that stop me from a bit of sewing this morning? I need something to bind on the plane, don’t I? I started quilting my tiny tumblers last night and finished the borders early this morning.

Since I have the big vintage quilt on the frame, this one had to be done on the Bernina.
I am SO out of practice quilting on a domestic machine!
After work, I need to go to the post office, a bit of shopping, get a haircut, run a couple loads of laundry and finish (start?) packing some clothes.
This is Michigan right now:
Schools are closed due to the extreme low temps. Approximately 40 hours and I will be landing in Phoenix. I can’t wait!

I am making my first tumbler quilt thanks to my Accuquilt tumbler die. They are so much fun to cut.
It’s been cold here, but not nearly as cold as it’s been in Michigan, I’m sure. 😉 It won’t be long now before you’ll be on your way … have a safe trip!
We’re not quite that cold – just 14 this morning and schools are trying to open, but several are still closed. Those that are open are having difficulty with buses not starting. It’s always a push to get ready to leave. Safe travels. Love the tumblers. They are on my to do list.
