I have so much to do before my trip out west, but I do have a little something on the design wall.

These are the leftover bits from the Graffiti Heart quilt I made a few weeks back. I will gift the heart quilt to Daughter #2 and this will be a little matching quilt for the grand dog.

I have been wanting to try quilting with a soft, minky type of backing. I have a scrap just big enough to go on the back of this little one so it is the perfect project to experiment on.
I got a little bit done on my tiny tumblers.
Saturday we took a trip down to Ikea with Daughter #1, SIL, and little man. He loved it when Papa set him in the bin of stuffed bunnies!
Yesterday it was so very cold here that I didn’t want to move away from the fire! So I did a bit of knitting and nearly finished a dishcloth.
Linking up with Patchwork Times for Design Wall Monday.

He looks so adorable amongst the bunnies. I’ve never seen dishcloths on round needles. Interesting….
Love the little scottie dogs in the fabric from grafitti heart. Great photo in the bunny pit!
You’re certainly a women of many talents, Katy! I love the look of absolute delight on the little man’s face. Just too adorable!
Your design wall fabrics are great. THat little mans smile – oh good golly!!!!
If I had your weather I’d be staying in too. Love the baby pic and the cute quilt for the dog :-).
Thanks for the updates. Isn’t it amazing how much the rows of tumblers shrink once they are sewn together? I’ve just watched the tv weather forecast and we were shown the big freeze and the wind chill temps across N America, no wonder you’ve decided to stick by the fire with a quilt over your lap!
Your little guy looks so happy in that bin of bunnies! I love seeing your tumblers come together.
I have been by our fire the past few days as well. I really love the colors in the Graffitti block–so crisp and clean looking. Also your tiny tumbler is going to be great I have a larger size one cut out but have not had the time to put it together–maybe by this summer.
