Remember these from my orphan block collection?

I wanted a quick little project so I pulled them out along with these blues.

Not sure what I’ll do in the corners yet, but I love it so far!

Have a great day!

I finished four quilts this month. I’m thrilled that this big one is done.

And I’m quite chuffed about this one.

Tiny Nines was another long term project. I’m really enjoying it.

And this baby quilt has found a home already.

I don’t know where March went. It feels like we should have a few more weeks of it yet!
Have a great day!
Mister Wonderful and I recently watched the following two movies. They aren’t new, but they were both fantastic! Definitely worth checking out.

This post really made me think. So true.

I’ve been working on organizing the fabric stash. It’s a never ending project.

The mister and I went up to Prescott recently. Our son in law raves about a pizza place there called Bill’s Pizza,. We had to try it. He wasn’t wrong! Yum!

Have a great day!
So I’ve been working on getting these blocks together.

I placed my pieces on the railing and, ugh! Do you see it?

Over 2,000 pieces and I have two identical bits right next to each other!

I wanted to leave it. But I knew it would bug me forever.

After a bit of surgery, it’s much better.

Have a great day!
And it’s done! This fabric waited in my stash a long time to become a quilt! I love these colors together.

I ended up quilting with just straight lines, top to bottom.

I love the texture.

I’m trying to do more machine binding to save my hands.

I kept the backing simple with a solid cream I had on hand.

I’m pretty happy with this one. I’m sure I’ll find a home for it.

Have a great day!
I cut out a bunch of blocks for the Scrappy Meets Thrifty Challenge (SMT).

These will eventually be set with alternate blocks. The sample block I made previously will end up in the orphan block box.

I’m making these as a leader/ender project right now. There is a real temptation to just focus on this and ignore everything else!
Have a great day!
Taryn , @reproquiltlover on Instagram, is starting a new sewing along. This is the inspiration quilt.

Can you believe those tiny blocks finish at two inches? Incredible!
I made a sample block, but mine finishes at four inches.

These are the AccuQuilt dies I used from my 4” Qube.

I have no idea how big this will be or how many blocks I will make. Time will tell.
Have a great day!
I got another block made, the yellow one.

Now I’m second guessing myself. Does it have enough contrast?

Should I make more blocks? Maybe I’ll audition some backgrounds and then decide.
Have a great day!
I got back to work on this. Knowing that if I put it away now, it would never again see the light of day.

As expected, I ran out of blocks.

I did have some extra HSTs leftover.

So I made a few more geese from those and now I’m finally ready to get this top sewn.

Have a great day!
Mister and I picked up Daughter #2 and SIL and headed out looking for adventure recently.

Our goal was to head up the Four Peaks.

We found snow!

And many other amazing sights.

We headed back along the Apache Trail. It was so beautiful!

Have a great day!
