This is my sweet grand dog, Charlie. I quite adore him!

Ever feel this way? I have quite a lot lately!

I just finished this puzzle. Loved it!

I don’t remember if I shared this one. Mister bought it for me on our trip. So pretty!

Have a great day!

It’s done and I love it! I don’t know why it took me so long to get going on this.

Red is my favorite color and it works so well with black and white.

I love the texture on back.

It finished at 72 by 80 inches. It was too big to get a photo of the entire thing on my back wall.

Have a great day!
My little quilt is done and washed.

The after washing crinkle sure hides a lot of imperfections!

I love working with vintage fabrics. This backing has been in my stash so long, it might be bordering on vintage!

Ugh, those feather tips are bad.

But let’s focus on these fun fabrics instead.

It definitely has a lot of texture.

It is far from perfect, but I like it.

Have a great day!
This little quilt jumped the queue! I thought I’d show how I mark for quilting feather borders. I’m very much out of practice.
First I mark the corners and center lines of the borders.

These are not quilting lines, but reference lines to mark the spines. Then I use my spine ruler (IDK what the official name is) to draw in the spines.

I use the same ruler when I actually quilt the spines.

After spines are quilted, I free hand the feathers. Don’t look too closely! I am REALLY out of practice.

But at least it is finally getting done. Have a great day!
I made these blocks when we were in Michigan, back in June.

I had enough fabric with me for sashing, but not borders.

When I got back to AZ, I couldn’t find the border fabric. I knew I had it. I looked for it for weeks. I finally found it.

Now I need to figure out how to quilt it.
Hmmmmm…..
Have a great day!
I’m moving right along!

I used these design boards for the quilting.

I even have the binding ready to go.

I’ll be glad to have this one done. Have a great day!
I’m still plugging away at this! I was up to 25 nine inch blocks when I snapped this photo.

Now I’m up to 32 and my box is filling up!

My bin of cut squares hasn’t gone down much. Funny how that happens!
Have a great day!
This is an older movie that I recently watched on Amazon Prime. I loved it!

This made me laugh!

Sigh….

Yep, this is me!

And another puzzle finish.

Have a great day!
I’m quite pleased to have this Christmas gift done!

It was a perfect piecing project in the RV.

Askers fabric because I grew up in Wisconsin. Cardinals fabric for AZ.

My crazy back turned out alright. I don’t enjoy piecing backings, but I think I will start doing more of it.

Ta daaa!

Willy wanted you to know that he helped too. 😂

Have a great day!
I started making more blocks. I’m loving these colors.

I must admit, it drives me nuts that I will have leftover blocks now.

I had not finished tweaking the layout in this photo.

But now I’m ready to get this top together.

Have a great day!
