I managed a bit more than one finish per week this month. One finish is secret sewing and will be revealed in March.
So the final tally is two baby quilts, one wall quilt, and one throw quilt. Not my most productive month, but not bad.

This quilt turned out even better than I expected. I thought along the way that it might be too dark, but in the end, I think it’s just right.
The allover quilting worked well on the busy fabrics and showed up nicely on the border and back.
I used leftover backing fabric for the binding. Please excuse my lint. 🤦🏻♀️
It is 60 by 72 inches. A big thank you to Ila for sharing these lovely fabrics with me. 😊

I’ve remained focused on this project and the end is in sight. It’s on the frame and quilting has begun.

I mentioned that the quilt I’m working on was inspired by ind I made years ago. I found a photo to share with you.
I think that one is about 25 years old. Here are the blocks for the current version.

I started making bow tie blocks to go with the sawtooth stars I shared yesterday.
I hope to get a good size throw quilt out of this. I like to make them about 60” by 72”.
I used dies 11.1 and 12.1 from the AccuQuilt 12” Companion Set. – Corners as well as Die 3 from the 12” Qube.
I made a quilt many years ago with sawtooth stars and bow ties and have always wanted to make another.

I started something new. Remember those lovely pink and brown fabrics that a friend recently gifted me?
Well, they’ve been chopped! And piecing has begun.
