I’m making progress here. This is a small piece so it shouldn’t take long.

Every now and again, I do actually make something that I pinned on Pinterest!

Have a great day!

My little top is pieced and quilting has begun.

I think I need to add a bit more, though I’m not sure why I’m putting this much effort into a doll quilt.

And I still have leftovers.

It never ends….. Have a great day!
Turns out, I only had 24 of the white pieces left, but a bunch of print triangles. So I turned these….

…..into these.

This is how I did it. The original pieces were cut using dies from my 12” Qube. So I needed to cut the opposite corner off. I used the 45 degree line on my ruler and a piece of painters tape on my ruler.

It worked perfectly!

Ta daa!

This will make a fun little doll quilt!

Have a great day!
I’ve had a vintage quilt pinned on Pinterest for ages. I cut out pieces for it back when I cut pieces for my little economy block quilt. I’ve been piecing these little hour glass blocks as leaders/Enders.

I’m getting to the end here.

Maybe this will give you an idea of where I’m headed here.

Have a great day!
A dear online friend sent me this gorgeous block to finish. I’m so lucky! The hard part is done!

She also sent along this fabric and pattern for the center. I think I can handle this much appliqué.

I might switch it up a bit though. I’ve been looking at vintage Princess feather quilts for inspiration. I hope to get started today.
Have a great day!
I’ve been making quilted hearts out of bits of practice quilting. This new die is wonderful for it!

Oscar got ducked last week!

I’ve been ducking a few Jeeps as well.

We had a volunteer sunflower pop up amidst our strawberry plants. I just love it! We’ve never planted these at this house. I’m thinking it came from the seed in our bird feeders.

I still haven’t found a name for this quilt block.

I went through every page of this and didn’t find it.

Any ideas? Have a great day!
This was a fun little project! I thoroughly enjoyed playing in my vintage scraps to create my version of Lori’s little quilt .

I used a feedsack for the backing and background. I hand quilted it.

Mine finished at 10 1/2 by 12 inches, perfect for this little bed.

Have a great day!
Apparently, I cannot count. I had leftover bits from this quilt that I finished last week.

Rather than put them someplace, I decided to do something with them right away.

So I’ve been sewing the corners on as leaders/enders.

Might make a cute doll quilt.

I’ll have to see how many I end up with.
Have a great day!
I’ve made some more blocks, whilst avoiding the Roblox quilt.

In addition to the Bannard Hills fabrics, I’m adding some Laundry Basket fabrics, and some very old Smithsonian fabrics. They all seem to play quite nicely together.

Have a great day!
One of my grandsons is big into Roblox games. He asked me if I could make a Roblox quilt for him and showed me this logo.

Seems simple enough. But I won’t tell you how much ripping I did on the piece below.

I still don’t have the angle right, but it’s staying. I need more black fabric before I can move ahead. I decided to use gray instead of white. It’s for a 9 yo boy after all.
I plan to machine appliqué the word, Roblox, below the square, as in the photo above. My goal is to complete this before August.
I might make it. If I quit procrastinating.
Have a great day!
