I had a couple pieces of fabric on my table and decided to try them out as alternative colors for this little project.

I like the red best and I have a lot of red scraps that would work. But in the end, I decided to just cut more blues. It was suggested that I use more of the large swirly print in the layout I showed yesterday. That would have worked well, but I didn’t have any more than those few squares.

So today I’ll start sewing rows.
