Vintage Blues on the Frame

It’s not only on the frame, but quilting has begun.

I’m using the same pattern boards as I did for my Freedom 250 quilt. This is a one inch diagonal grid.

They work like pantographs, but instead of following a line drawing with a laser light, you use a stylus that fits in these grooves.

And here is a look at the front.

This is not a quick process. But it’s much quicker than hand quilting.

Have a great day

Do you guide the quilting by hand, or do you just set the coordinates on the machine, and then the machine does it?

(I don’t know much about a long arm). Thanks! Dawn
