The Marvin Diet

This quilt is called Cheese and Crackers. It was a Humble Quilts QAL.

When my sweet MIL used to go out of town, my FIL would eat cheese and crackers the whole time she was gone. So that became known in our family as the Marvin Diet.

It’s pretty much what I eat whenever Mr. Wonderful is gone.

    Dear Katy,

Not a day goes by that I don’t check your blog, living vicariously through your completed quilt making. I feel a certain friendship connection and therefore knowing you are grieving, I say a prayer for you fondly. I love your Marvin Diet quilt, the black and cheddar fabric along with the simplicity of the design speaks volumes of love, of mourning, of cheddar cheese and humor. Hang in there.
