My sweet mother in love has passed into eternity.

In her last days, she sang this song.
What a Day!
There is coming a day,
When no heart aches shall come,
No more clouds in the sky,
No more tears to dim the eye,
All is peace forever more,
On that happy golden shore,
What a day, glorious day that will be.
What a day that will be,
When my Jesus I shall see,
And I look upon His face,
The One who saved me by His grace;
When He takes me by the hand,
And leads me through the Promised Land,
What a day, glorious day that will be.
There’ll be no sorrow there,
No more burdens to bear,
No more sickness, no pain,
No more parting over there;
And forever I will be,
With the One who died for me,
What a day, glorious day that will be.
What a day that will be,
When my Jesus I shall see,
And I look upon His face,
The One who saved me by His grace;
When He takes me by the hand,
And leads me through the Promised Land,
What a day, glorious day that will be

Nine years ago, my dad and father in law passed within two days of each other.
Now my mom and mother in love have passed exactly three weeks apart.
Mr. Wonderful and I are now both orphans. The world feels different.

So Sorry for your loss. Prayers for your comfort.
so sorry to hear about your mother in love, it is always harder on the ones left behind. Love the song she sang, so lovely. my deepest condolences to you and your husband.
Sorry for your loss. I don’t think any of are ever ready for losing our parents
Katy, so sorry for the pain of separation from the mommas (& daddys). Thanking God that it’s only temporary! I’m asking the Holy Spirit for more comfort for you, Mr Wonderful, and all the others who knew and loved your mommas. I know He already has been comforting.
Oh my, Katy. Two special and well-loved women. Grace and peace to you and Mr. W in these coming days.
I’m praying for God’s special comfort. It hurts when we lose a generation of loved ones. We think of all they have passed down, the most important being faith in God. What a beautiful hymn she sang during her last days. It’s a great one to keep on our lips always.
Oh Katy I’m so sorry! Three years ago I lost my mom and MIL just a week apart. There is a special kind of loneliness that comes from losing your mom. I am comforted knowing they are safe in Jesus’ care now and pray that you will also be comforted as you mourn.
so sorry for your loss! May your memories of her continue to be a blessing to you & Mr. Wonderful. Prayers for peace & strength in the coming weeks.
