My Mom

It’s been a crazy few weeks around here. I had quite a few posts scheduled ahead and I let them run their course. I’ve not been responding to comments.

My mom had a severe stroke on Memorial Day and left this world on June 8th. I am thankful that she is finally pain free and with my dad.

Most importantly, she is with Jesus.

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing adult kids, and a former librarian. I love making everything from traditional quilts to art quilts. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

Good morning, Katy, I was so sorry to read about the passing of your mom. I know she will be greatly missed by those who loved her, but what a blessing it is to know that she is now in the presence of the One who loves her most. Caring, Terry

My most sincere condolences. I too lost my mom to a severe stroke, so I can partly understand the flurry of care and the pain of loss. May the peace of love surround you and all who loved your mom.
