I came across this “quilt” on FB Marketplace recently and had to share it with you!

Have you ever seen anything like this? I imagine it would be extremely heavy.

    I looked into making one a few years ago, it’s an interesting technique. They are called Pine cone or Pine burr quilts, there is a book by Betty Ford-Smith and a few videos available on YouTube. Great scrappy quilts.

    interesting quilt. I’ve never seen that pattern. It definitely would be a heavy quilt. Thanks for sharing.

    I’ve never seen anything like that quilt, but my first thought was that it would be terribly heavy. Great for winter!
