Part of the reason I haven’t had much to share, is that I’ve been spending a lot of time playing with rocks. Here is some petrified wood and jasper.

I spend a lot of time cutting thin slices called slabs. some of these were purchased at an estate sale and some I found myself.

Then I use stencils to draw shapes.

Drilling holes takes FOREVER.

After polishing, I get these.

Add some cords and I have pendants.

I’ve also been making crosses to give away. These are a good size to carry in your pocket.

They are a bit tricky to make. Sometimes I’m almost done cutting one out and it breaks.

Some just get polished.

I put them in bowls or baskets and people like to sift through them when they visit.
