Vintage Top

Here is another possibility for hand quilting this summer. I just love the overall design!

But it has issues.

Lots of seams are coming apart.

But the prints are fantastic!

It is all hand sewn.

This purple fabric is see through in the light areas.

Love this block!

Sigh….so beautiful and yet so much work needs to be done. I’m not sure I have the patience for these repairs right now.

    You could be right. I’m not sure in its current state that I could even do that. I think this will require more pondering.

    At least it is backless right now so you can get at the areas that need help.

    It seems that to fix it will “destroy” the spirit of the quilt. Better to frame it or attach it to a canvas. IMHO
