Finish It Up Friday ~ Little 9 Patch

This was a quick little finish. I plan to use it on night stand in the guest room.

The quilting is not good. I’m so out of practice quilting on a domestic machine. But I want to get back to it so I can finish things while traveling in the RV.

The following photos show how distorted the piecing became. The first photo is before quilting.

This is after the first “grid” was completed.

After finishing quilting.

It doesn’t look too bad until you look at it this way. Ugh.

I’m hoping washing will help hide the wonkiness.

It’s still cute and will serve its purpose.

Have a great day!

Adorable! Don’t be so hard on yourself…perfection is overrated and the wobble in the quilt lines adds to the entire design. Love it!

it is a pretty little finish and as my friend says a blind man would give a million to see it…and really you are your own worst critic…
