Throwback Thursday ~ Blue Collar Diamonds

This post is only three years old, but it felt appropriate to share it again, given that I’m working with this same shapes again. Enjoy!

I cannot tell you how much I love this little quilt!

I love new fabric, but there is something about a quilt made from clothing that brings it to a whole new level for me.

The binding bothers me less now that it is finished. I worried that I might not have added enough quilting.

But after washing, I think it was just right.

It has the perfect pucker factor.

I would love to wrap a new baby in this, but since that isn’t an option, I hung it up instead.

Have a great day!

Shirting’s from men’s shirts or from their boxers, either way (and I’m saving hubby’s boxers that are too big for him now to utilize in a similar way!) great reuse of fabrics! And yes, he is losing weight on purpose!

Thanks for sharing this little quilt again. I love the shirting fabric and the cheddar color throughout. Were those your dad’s shirts??
