Finish It Up Friday ~ Tangled

This quilt is why I wanted to work with bias tape. I had an idea in my head and needed to come up with a way to create it.

I applied this all by hand and it took forever. Seriously, nearly the whole season of Queen Charlotte.

Here’s a look at the back.

I’m quite smitten with this piece.

Have a great day!

I love the Tangled design. You get A++ for all the hand stitching and the design of course. That is one thing I cannot do, nor do I wish to. lol

Wow, I think Tangled looks fabulous. It’s very effective against that heavily quilted background.

It’s wonderful, Katy! Did you doodler/draw it out until you found the design you liked?? Did you glue the bias tape down? I’m curious!

Beautiful quilt! I made a celtic quilt once, and yep, it took forever to sew all the bias strips 😉

  5. Sandi says:

This looks amazing!! It’s very striking. I love it! Hugs,

  6. I used a small piece of bias in one of my challenge quilts, and was surprised at how time consuming it was to add, so I get what you are saying! I love this piece, though! Really fun!
