Surprise Rememdered

This is moving along quite nicely! The pattern is called Shipshewana Remembered, but I’ve decided to call mine, Surprise Remembered. Surprise is the name of the town we live in here in Arizona. It has scraps of so many projects completed here.

BTW, this is not my pattern, but it is available on Etsy.

It is 48 inches square at this point. I’m thinking about adding a pieced border. That will use a few more squares!

    I’ve seen these with pieced border, then a wide border of solid, then another pieced border… till it got the size the designer of that particular quilt wanted. Great way to use up scraps!
