Daughter #2 and I went hiking at the White Tank Mountains last week. It is seriously near the top of my favorite places on earth. The wildflowers are beginning to bloom.

“The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad, the desert shall rejoice and blossom; like the crocus”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭35‬:‭1‬ ‭NRSV‬‬

Pictures just don’t do it justice.

Have a great day!

I lived in Arizona for 22 years and feel in live with all of the colors in the desert… any one who says it is all brown- hasn’t really looked! Thanks for the beautiful glimpse of Spring.

I love White Tanks! It’s such an easy hike and perfect for newbies who want to see the beauty of the desert.

The last time I was there (a few weeks ago), I even caught an AZ snowman!

    So fun.

  6. There were some lovely colors along your hike! Maybe you should quilt your hikes (okay, confession, I’ve been reading about textile stitching and daily walks).
