New Leader/Ender Project

I’ve been thinking for a while about my next leader/ender project. This bin of 2 1/2” squares is overflowing so I knew I wanted to use these.

I cut some plain squares to go with.

This is the die I used from my AccuQuilt 8” Qube.

This is my idea. I’m not sure my plain squares are bold enough to stand out.

I have the next block ready to stitch. I might have to make a few and then decide if I like it or not.

Have a great day!

you have been busy. i have also been thinking about just stitching blocks together. on the stashbuster list today someone posted a great scrap quilt using 81 patch blocks. https://adventurousquilter.blogspot.com/search?q=81+patch – i’ve always enjoyed your scappy random squares. i’m seriously thinking about trying out this 81 patch. as slow as i’ve gotten, it will be a while. thanks for aways sharing. patti in florida

Other than the deliberate placement of your solid squares, do you just grab random squares while you’re sewing??
