After a whirlwind trip to Missouri, I’m back in Arizona. Yesterday, was a nap with dogs/reading/rest day. I hope to get caught up on comments soon.
Adding triangles to these as a leader/ender project worked out very well. That was rather boring sewing, but it is now nearly done. So it’s time to think again about the layout.
This was my original plan.

But I also like this.

Perhaps turned this way.

I’ve got samples of both ideas up on the design wall so I can ponder it. Pondering is a very important part of quilting for me.
Have a great day!
Years ago I used Hexagons to make an I Spy quilt for grandson. Time consuming, but worth it!
Again, I have to tell you that it just brightens my day to see your posts! I always look forward to seeing what you are doing! The weather here has me a little down today; it’s a dark, dreary, rainy and chilly day here in Alabama, so seeing your post today really cheered me up and did my heart good! I look forward to seeing what you decide about your quilt.
The first would be my choice. You are so prolific with your quilting.
aha! modern traditionalism….very nice!
