In the Sewing Room

I spent much of this week with the grands. They take turns spending the night so they each get a night by themselves. It is great fun! After the last one went home, I headed to the sewing room. I have made more bow ties, in between other things.

I have a long way to go.

And this is where I’m at with my Hattie’s Choice blocks.

I ran out of the white pieces and now I have to figure out what I used. I thought it was Kona Snow, but it clearly wasn’t that!

Since I had extra room on the long arm when I quilted Impossible, I threw a FQ on and played with some free motion quilting.

Now, I’m not sure what to do with it. It’s an odd size for a pouch. what size do you find to be useful for zippered bags?

I’m having a hard time getting excited about any of these projects right now. Feels like a mid summer sewing slump.

Have a great day!

Just quilt up a complimentary fq and make a tote. You just need handles.

Oh, I am glad I am not the only with the mid summer slumps..I just can’t seem to be interested in anything. I hate this feeling..

  3. Fun sewing projects going on! Those Hattie’s Choice blocks are so pretty! Is that Kona white? For the quilted fat quarter, you could cut it into a circle for a cute placemat? Or just finish it as is for a fun tabletopper.
